The Bacon Bomb
Call the doctor I am having a heart attack just looking at this!
Ingredients
2 lbs of bacon
2 lbs of pork Sausage
1 lb of Mozzarella Cheese
1 Onion
½ cup your favorite BBQ rub / Seasoning
Method
| Gather your ingredients | |
| Crispy Fry a pound a bacon
Crumble into small pieces | |
| Mince up the onion | |
| Make the Bacon weave
Sprinkle with the BBQ rub | |
| Spread out the sausage
Add a little more Seasoning | |
| Layer on the cheese I can feel my arteries hardening | |
| Now Lay down the Crispy bacon | |
| Sprinkle the onions on | |
| Lets Roll
Carefully roll up the Sausage with out the Bacon weave | |
| Now Roll the Bacon weave over the Sausage roll.
Try to neatly tuck in the sides Add a little bit more rub on top | |
| Fire up the gill and set it up for indirect cooking.
Notice the coal are on the left and meat is to the right
Add a few Misquet chip for that smoky flavor.
Cook for approximately 1 hour until internal temperature is 180 degrees | |
| Slice into 1 inch slices
Notice the red smoke ring
Take your cholesterol medicine and enjoy |
